class ImageMob(rgba_array_or_file_path, textured=True, **kwargs)[source]

Bases: Surface

A flat 2-D rectangular Surface with color set according to a given image (or image file path).

The picture is shown unlit – its own colors, unaffected by the Scene’s lights.

Parameters:
  • rgba_array_or_file_path (torch.Tensor | str) – An array of RGBA data, or a string containing the path to an image file from which RGBA data will be read, used to color the surface.

  • textured (bool) – If True, shade the four-vertex surface by sampling the image as a texture. If False, create one mesh vertex per image pixel and assign the pixel values directly as vertex colors.

  • **kwargs – Passed to Surface.

Whether this Mob's surfaces are darkened by shadows cast onto them.

render_tolerance_pixels

How far a drawn triangle may sit from the true surface, in pixels.

The Mob's scale along its own right, up and forward axes, shape (*, 3).

two_sided

Whether this Mob's geometry should be lit from whichever side the ray arrives on.

Get the Mob's own upward direction.
